Peter Jones
Founder, President and CEO

Peter has spent the last 37 years working with businesses to provide outstanding retirement plan solutions for their employees. Prior to founding Everington Companies in 2005, Peter served as a partner and principal for two national recordkeepers and co-founded Wellington Consulting Services Inc., a Registered Investment Adviser with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). 

As President and CEO of Everington Companies, Peter spearheads the company's strategic direction and service development. Peter also currently serves as a member of the Schwab Retirement Technologies (SRT) Advisory Board. He earned Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) certifications from CFP Board and ASPAA and a BS degree in commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.

Hal Greer
Director of Account Management

Hal has almost 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including experience as an institutional broker and providing personal financial services to individual investors. He joined Wellington Consulting Services, Inc. in 2003 as a pension consultant and has been with EC ever since its founding in 2005. 

Hal is the Director of Account Management at EC and oversees plan onboarding, administration, and participant requests. He earned a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) certification from ASPAA, a B.S. degree in Business & Administration from the University of Maryland, and a B.A. degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland University College.

Mitch Gamso
Director of Strategic Initiatives

Mitch graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 and has been with EC since 2013.  He started with ECI as a database conversion specialist and then moved into the recordkeeping space where he gained years of pension administration experience.  Mitch is now a Senior Pension Consultant and the Director of Strategic Initiatives. 

As a client-facing Pension Consultant, Mitch regularly assists clients and participants with plan design questions and administration requests.  As Director of Strategic Initiatives, his focus is centered on firm-centric projects where he is responsible for implementing global system upgrades and changes.

Cheryl Greer
Director of Personal Financial Services

Over the past 25 years, Cheryl has worked at a variety of financial services firms as both an institutional broker and, since 2000, a private client group services representative. She joined Wellington Consulting Services, Inc. in 2003 and has remained with EC ever since. 

Cheryl has extensive experience working with individuals on their personal investment accounts and serves as the Director of ECI’s Personal Financial Services Department. She earned a B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University with a concentration in Economics.

Under the overall direction of our senior leadership, each EC employee is part of a team designed to provide you and your employees the most efficient 401(k) experience possible. 

401(k) Plan Administration 

If you have a question about your plan, our 401(k) Plan Administrators are your go-to point of contact. These 401(k) experts can give you all the information you need to keep you knowledgeable and up-to-date on your plan. 


The EC Recordkeeping Team provides all the manpower that it takes to keep track of your employees' contributions, earnings, and investments. They also coordinate with Charles Schwab Bank to carry out investment trades. 


When you sign up for Perfect401(k), EC's Implementation Team will be your welcome committee. They are responsible for plan set-up and conversion, and they will walk you through the entire implementation process, including plan design, preparing enrollment materials, coordinating asset transfers, and contribution submission training. 


EC's compliance specialists ensure that all of our company's plans are running in accordance with the SEC, ERISA, and all the latest regulatory requirements. They prepare legal plan documents and complete the annual testing and required government reports for each of our plans.
